New supermarket opens in Hermosa

In an exciting development for the residents of Hermosa, Mayor Jopet Inton officially inaugurated the Robinson Supermarket in Palihan last October 27. The grand opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by various dignitaries and executives from the retail industry.

The arrival of Robinson Supermarket in Hermosa signifies a significant milestone for the local community. This new addition to the retail landscape promises to provide not only essential products but also employment opportunities and support for the people of Hermosa.

Robinsons Supermarket, the supermarket of choice for fresh and healthy food, is a subsidiary of Robinsons Retail Holdings inc., the second largest multi-channel retailer in the Philippines-operating 6 business segments, 28 retail brands and more than 1,200 stores nationwide. Established in 1985, Robinsons Supermarket is the 2nd largest supermarket chain in the country with 149 branches to date.

Mayor Jopet Inton, who was instrumental in bringing this venture to the town, expressed his enthusiasm for the new supermarket. In a Facebook post made after the formal opening, he stated, “𝐑𝐎𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐓 𝐒𝐀 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐀, 𝐁𝐔𝐊𝐀𝐒 𝐍𝐀!” He went on to mention that the opening of the supermarket was not just about commerce but was driven by a broader vision. The primary goal of this new establishment is to create job opportunities, provide assistance to the local community, and offer a platform for economic growth.

Robinson Supermarket is a well-known retail chain, and its presence in Hermosa is expected to improve access to a wide range of high-quality products, fresh produce, and groceries for residents. This not only brings convenience but also promotes local spending, supporting the town’s economy.

The collaboration with local and national business leaders, as witnessed at the ribbon-cutting ceremony, is a testament to the unity and shared commitment to the progress of Hermosa. The combined efforts of these organizations demonstrate the confidence they have in the town’s potential for growth and development.

The opening of Robinson Supermarket is anticipated to stimulate economic activity in the area, attract more visitors, and contribute to the overall prosperity of Hermosa. This new supermarket is more than just a place to shop; it symbolizes the community’s resilience and determination to work together for a brighter future.

As the shelves of Robinson Supermarket are stocked with products and the checkout lines open, Hermosa residents can look forward to a more convenient shopping experience and the promise of new job opportunities. The supermarket is set to become a focal point for the community, where neighbors can meet, shop, and build stronger connections.

The Hermosa community eagerly welcomes this new chapter in its development and looks forward to the positive impact that Robinson Supermarket will bring. With the strong commitment of Mayor Jopet Inton and the support of local and national businesses, Hermosa is poised for a brighter and more prosperous future.
